Matilda Neyhard was born July 20, 1820 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania the daughter of Jaacob and Susannah (Boyer) Neyhard. She married 1) Joseph Peter when she was twenty-three years of age. 2) Jonathan K. Clapper on March 9, 1858.
